About Us

We provide health education and primary health care focusing on women’s health and family planning in collaboration with community members and local health care workers in impoverished rural communities in Ecuador.

Economic inequality, crippling national debt, and persistent poverty in Ecuador have created a severe vacuum in public health infrastructure in rural areas.

Rural communities are left with few alternatives to traditional curatives, local nongovernmental organizations that are overextended and underfunded, and support from the developed world.
